Tom Schramm

Tom Schramm moved from Arizona to Minnesota in 2005, bringing his coffee shop-style vocals and guitar to the small touristy town of Lanesboro, where he’s hosted a long running open mic night. Singing lead and playing rhythm guitar, he’s played in an Americana-style band, Tom Schramm and the LPs, since 2011.  Notably, Tom has traveled the world with his guitar in tow, playing gigs in New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Mexico.  No matter where he plays, he hears, “You sound just like Neil Young,” leading to the forming of Rustic Moon – Neil Young Tribute Band.

“Doc Roc”

“Doc Roc” came up from Memphis 15 years ago and has been playing music since the Beatles invaded America.  He has played guitar in the streets and subways of Paris, in clubs and bars in Germany, South Florida, DC and on Beale Street and particularly enjoys playing slide guitar. Along with strong elemental vocal harmonies, Doc’s skill and versatility on lead guitar embodies the diverse styles of Neil Youngs music.

Todd Christensen

Todd Christensen is a multi-instrumentalist with a strong affection for the blues.  He has played with several bands in and around Rochester where he showcases his blues harp and guitar abilities.  In Rustic Moon, Todd provides bass guitar and back-up vocals, but his mesmerizing harmonica is key to the true-to-life Neil Young sound.

Barb Schramm

Barb Schramm rounds out the band’s sound with rich sounding harmonies and complimentary light percussion. Joining her husband Tom, the two perform multiple gigs every year as a duet, and with Tom Schramm and the LPs.  Her enthusiasm brings a joyful energy to the stage.
